The Musician's Lofts

About the artist

The Musician’s Loft is a private residence and creative community for instrumental musicians within Los Angeles’ Brewery Artist Lofts. Established informally in 2012, we occupy five floors where musicians can live, compose, practice and record. Residents make music in their own rooms, with shared live rooms and recording studios available for larger projects. Our community has included touring musicians, songwriters, producers, engineers, students, Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated artists and engineers, and dedicated amateurs. The Musician’s Loft exists to keep live, instrumental music alive as an everyday art form, and to give musicians something increasingly difficult to find in Los Angeles: a place where they can actually play.
