Sebastians’s ceramic work has been described by his friends and peers as being in its surrealist period. The work ranges from architectural, angular pieces to fluid, organic forms. Proportions shift, handles twist beyond any usefulness, and pots fully transform into monsters.
Sebastian grew up in Argentina and Bolivia, and is a cinematographer by trade. A newcomer to the world of ceramics, Sebastian has worked primarily in Los Angeles, and recently completed a residency in Chiapas, Mexico, to explore new materials and traditions.
