Nicole Fournier is a Los Angeles-based artist who combines photography with the ancient technique of encaustic, transferring her original photographs into layers of wax and pigment. Her work explores themes of personal growth and environmental awareness through rich textures and ethereal surfaces. A graduate of William Paterson University in New Jersey, she has been part of the Brewery Arts Complex since 2009, where she also teaches encaustic workshops. Her process blends historical techniques with contemporary vision, creating work that feels both timeless and intimate.
