About the artist

I am a Los Angeles-based artist-designer-writer creating interactive, participatory sculpture, installations, prints, and performances using multi-sensory media and materials in artwork I call supersensory art. This art engages all 7 senses, including the “shadow senses” of interoception (internal organ functions) and proprioception (muscle and joints) in non-visually dominant art pieces. Supersensory art emphasizes active visitor participation where they can move, touch, hear, feel, and sometimes smell elements. These are meant to induce a haptic, intimate experience with the artwork that enhances and enlarges the visitor's senses to enhance and enlarge their consciousness.
