Dave Lefner is an American artist and Printmaker best known for his detailed Reduction Linocut prints celebrating vintage Los Angeles architecture, neon signage, classic cars, and mid-century roadside culture. Born in 1969 and raised in Los Angeles’s San Fernando Valley, Lefner developed an early interest in drawing and design before studying art at California State University, Northridge. While there, he discovered printmaking and became deeply influenced by the Reduction Linocut techniques pioneered by Pablo Picasso in the 1950s.
